1. Scope of Application

This policy applies to your personal information and data processing when using World2 App (including chat, multimodal creation, Portal, World Book, text processing scripts, media persistence/backup, and other features).

2. Information We Collect and Its Purpose

We collect information only to provide functionality, ensure security, and improve experience, following the principle of minimization and on-demand usage.

  • Account and Basic Information (if applicable): Nickname/avatar/user identifier, used for session differentiation and personalization settings.
  • Chat and Creative Content: Text, prompts, instructions, World Book entries, text processing scripts, used for conversations and generation.
  • Media Data: Images, voice, audio, video, file attachments (including local persistence and backup), used for multimodal conversations, preview, playback, backup/restore.
  • Device and Logs: Device model, system version, crash and performance logs, used for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Optional Cloud Features: If you enable iCloud/cloud backup, necessary data will be synced to your iCloud account.

3. Permission Usage

  • Camera/Microphone: Used for taking photos, recording audio, video recording/calls.
  • Photo/File Access: Used for selecting images/videos/files and sending them.
  • Network: Used for model inference, synchronization, downloading/uploading media.
  • Notifications (if enabled): Used for status reminders.
  • Permissions are only enabled after your authorization and can be turned off in system settings at any time.

4. Data Storage and Persistence

  • Local Storage: By default, media (images/audio/video/files) are persisted to the app sandbox (Documents/Media…), enabling offline viewing and reducing duplicate downloads.
  • Optional Cloud Backup: If you enable iCloud/cloud backup, related data will be synced to your iCloud; synchronization stops after disabling.
  • Temporary Files: Upload/generated intermediate files are regularly cleaned; unreferenced media can be cleaned according to quota policies.
  • Retention Period: The minimum period required for functionality or legal/compliance requirements. You can actively delete sessions/media or uninstall the App to clear local data.

5. Third Parties and Data Transmission

  • Model/Multimodal Service Providers (examples): OpenAI/Gemini/other LLM/TTS/image generation/speech transcription services you choose. Only the minimum data (text, media, or their encoding) necessary to fulfill your request is transmitted to your selected service.
  • Cloud Storage (optional): iCloud is provided by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Not used for advertising tracking; personal data is not sold to unrelated third parties.

6. Data Security

  • Transmission uses HTTPS/TLS (secure channels provided by service providers).
  • Local data is stored in the app sandbox; it is recommended to enable password/biometric authentication for your device.
  • We continuously improve access control, anomaly monitoring, and vulnerability fixes, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

  • Access/Export: View or export your sessions and media (if backup/export tools are provided).
  • Correction/Deletion: Edit or delete sessions, media, scripts; uninstalling can delete local data.
  • Revoke Authorization: Turn off camera/microphone/photo permissions in system settings; cloud sync can be disabled.
  • If further action is needed, please contact us through the contact channels.

8. Children's Privacy

This product is intended for adults and is not targeted at users under 13 years of age (or minors as defined by local law). If information involving minors is discovered, it will be deleted after verification.

9. Policy Updates

Policy updates will be notified in the app or on the official website, and significant changes will be separately and prominently notified. Continued use is considered acceptance of the updates.
